JOBBER BLACK OXIDE 135 DEGREE SPLIT POINT DRILL BIT

HEAVY-DUTY CONSTRUCTION DRILL BITS- These Jobber drill bits are black oxide plated with 135 degree split. A jobber drill bit with a split point is a straight shank drill with small cuts on either side of the tip's cutting flutes. The cuts help the drill bit bite in faster and prevent skating, making it easier to start drilling and eliminating the need for a pilot hole. The split point also creates a self-centering bit that anchors itself in the material, allowing the drill to cut with less pressure and eliminate walking.

Jobber drill bits are suitable for general purpose applications and can be used with a variety of materials, including aluminum, brass, copper, metal, plastic, and wood. They are available in a range of sizes, including fractional, number, and letter sizes, as well as 1–14 millimeters.
