Avdel® Stavex® rivets

The Avdel® Stavex® rivet (available in steel or stainless-steel construction) is a multi-grip, hole-filling, non-structural breakstem rivet. The Stavex® rivet multi-grip feature is an extension of the excellent bulbing tail formation on the application blind side. The tail of the rivet body will collapse into one, two or three bulbs depending on the thickness of the application. This not only allows the Stavex rivet to accommodate varying application thicknesses but creates a load-bearing surface, which absorbs the force of setting the rivet. With good hole fill and a large bulbing tail, this rivet is ideal for use on thin sheet materials. Stavex® can be used to fasten metal to metal, plastic to plastic, metal to plastic, and metal to rear sheet.
Assembly applications include automotive, commercial vehicles, domestic appliances, electronics, electrical equipment, general light industrial, and heating and ventilating.
Available in a stainless steel option for high corrosion resistance and for applications requiring elevated temperatures. Crest Fasteners offers all varieties of the Stavex series rivet.
